mercury
HI! This is Jisun and this blog post is all about the element “Mercury.”
I made a poem/ riddle about this element, but I turned it in to another teacher and I don’t have it now.
For now, I will post the symbol I made.
Description:
Mercury is a dangerous element that has a silvery white color.
It’s danger increases at higher temperatures.
It is used in thermometers, batteries and to separate gold from it’s ore, usually from the cinnabar ore.
Mercury was known to the ancient Chinese and Hindus before 2000 BC and the discoverer is unknown.
Mercury is also known as quicksilver.
